|Sonny||My diesel MF150 studdered a few days ago, dropped power, and started blowing a lot of grayish to black smoke. Things I've already done/discovered:
1. Fuel filter was nearly full of water, changed that.
I'm out of ideas to try without taking things apart completely....
Thanks for any help.......
Also, How do I determine the year of my MF150? The serial number from the tag is "9A I88476".

My MF-20c has had that trouble before Found blow out head gasket,in fact I just had the same thing happen again.
But I discovered the truth yesterday. I rechecked each cylinder and found one actually not firing..... after disassembly, it turned out to be a broken intake valve.
I could use the proper torque settings for the head bolts for when I have to put it all back together, if you know that....
