|Jim Bell||I am searching for information regarding a late model 1950ís Massey Harris tractor. I am in the process of restoring this tractor, and particularly need information on the paint used colors, and paint numbers.
The information on the tractorís brass plate is as follows: Corp of Engineers U. S. Army tractor wheeled industrial gasoline engine driven US size 4 Massey Harris Ferguson tractor. Operating weight 5450 pounds. Draw bar pull 3725-5175 pounds, tire size 6 ply, front 6.00 x 16-rear 13-30, maximum tire inflation pressure; front 36-rear20, maximum allowable speed, 13 mph. Manufactured by Massey-Harris-Ferguson, Inc., Racine, WI. Model No. 1-244G, Serial No. 3250, Contract No. DA-11-184-ENG-14783. Dated 4-June-1956. US registration No. 56-D-322, Stock List No. FSN2420-190-0362.
