Diesel MF 165

Bob Britton My tractor has started blowing diesel fuel out of the exhaust. Can anyone give me some information as to why this is happening?

Thanks so much.

Big Dean The Injectors not atomizing instead a mist they are just squirting a straight stream of fuel in the cylinders. That will sometimes cause that problem. Usually though when they are slobbing out the exhaust it is oil and not diesel fuel. Bad rings will cause that or the ring lands busted off the pistons. That is very common on those engine if they have ever had starting fluid used to start them with. It only takes a little to much starting fluid one time to bust the ring lands off the pistons. they will start and run fairly well like that but they slobber oil out the exhaust. One last thing check for diesel fuel in the oil that will also sometimes cause them to do that.
