|Harry Burmester||I need to replace the starter button on a TO-30. Can somone please provide step by step instruction. Thanks,
|David||Real easy procedure....If you look on top of the transmission housing below the battery, you will see a plate with 6 bolts. 4 of the bolts are at the corners of the plate, and 2 bolts are on either side of the starter button which is bolted to the plate. You only have to remove the 2 bolts on either side of the starter button, lift the starter button up, and replace with the new, then reconnect the wires.
