MF 65

Patrick Just purchased a gas Model 65 - I have no manuals. It is missing the stabilizer links for the 3-point. I understand that they are different depending on the type of tractor vis-a-vis ground "clearance" (standard, low and high).

Can anyone help as to how I should determine type of clearance I have so that I can purchase the correct stablizer link?

Many thanks,

Patrick

Backhoejoe If you have a 38" rear rims you would have the high clearance/row crop model. If the are 28" rears you would have the standard model I believe. If your stabilizer mounts from the bottom of the fender mount bolts you could take a measurement from there to the 3 point arm mount and get a rough idea of what you need.
Philippe Hi,
sorry to come in your discussion, but I will be very happy if you can help me. is there a special thing about put new oil in the gearbox ?
I have just renew the disc brake system and so I have to put oil.
the problem is that I did think I have to put 30 litres but with only a little more as 20, it seems to be already to high
thanks for the answer
Philippe

doyle my book states 8 Gallons, but I just drained the oil out of my 59 year model 65 and there were only about 6 gallon. I am in the process of replacing the brake discs, I have removed the left whell and the final drive gear box, Down to the Axil shaft sticking out, but how do you get the shaft out of the housing?
