|Waverly||Had some gasoline mixed at pump and it got into my deisel tractor. Having problem getting it to run now. I have flushed gas out of tank and replaced filters and flushed up to the fuel pump.
|Waverly||Any body have sugeestions on how to get it started again.
|Gord||If the tractor has no Multi-Power the best way to start it is with a tow !
Using t he normal system of battery and starter can be very hard on those parts ar it can take a pile of cranking.
But before .
Make sure all lines and filters etc are cleaned/drained
|Waverly||iT DOES HAVE MULTI POWER. hOW DOES THAT CHANGE THINGS?
|Ron||You need to bleed the air out of the fuel filters while manually working the fuel pump then the same for the injection pump,(2 bleed screws)then loosen the connector on the longest fuel line going to the injector.when it starts it will miss until you tighten this fitting.might be a good idea to get a diesel mechanic to do this for you.
