||My old 1100 is leaking hydraulic fluid pretty badly . They put the pump in front of the engine on the 1100. It leaks at rear of pump where shaft from front of engine enters. What's involved in fixing this? What do you have to take apart to get to it and what is most likely to be the problem and/or be replaced? How expensive? Thanks.
||There are two seals there one is for the radial pump cam shaft the other is an umbrella seal on the on the drive shaft where it goes into the pump cam shaft. the umbrella seal is the most common one to leak. In order to replace either of them the pump has to be removed. To replace the umbrella seal you have to have a special tool to install it on the shaft. Hope this helps My Email is email@example.com if you would like to Email me.
