3 point hitch hyd.pump mf 150

Brent Weldon M.F. 150 3 POINT HITCH DOESN'T WORK.Checked filter.Filter was unscrewed with element sucked in intake. The filter holder was bend.Got new holder, element and fluid.Guess pump is bad. How hard is it to change pump. Can you remove plate under seat and change or does the tractor have to be pulled in.
Big Dean Probably the pump has sucked something in the control valve and has it hung. I have saw those filter cans do some serious damage to the pump a few times. But first be sure your problem is not caused my the PTO clutch disc slipping by putting the pto in engine speed and check to see if it stops turning when you try to raise the lift. Before you lift off the liftcover there is some things you need to know to prevent more damage being done to the pump. If I can be of more help Email me at daustin62@aol.com
