|Harlen Larson||Can anyone tell me how many horse a 150 is suppose to be? Also how many hours are they usually good for before overhaul? I'm looking at buying one with 4300 hours on it. Any problems I should be aware of or look for?
|C. Burnett||The 150 has the same engine as the 135 and the same size as the 165. The 135 was rated at 38 hp on the diesel and I've read everything from that up to 42 on the 150. The old MF ads used to say 40 hp class so who knows. I'm not sure on the number of hours on the rebuild question but I would check the usual things including the Multi-Power if it has one, lift, brakes, clutch, shifting, power steering, and exhaust smoke just to hit some key items.
