|J B Cleary||Have a friend with a M F 165. The problem is that when he turns it on the starter starts in the run position. Previous to this it worked fine. He has replaced the starter switch and the solonoid with no improvements. He has taken off the starter snd had it checked at one of the automotive super stores and it checked out. If anyone has the schematics please send. This is a:
Massey Ferguson 165 with a gas powered Continental Engine I think he said with 176 cubic inches.
Help and Thanks.
|Blakeney||The starter is for a auto...not a standard
|mike||the start switch is for the diesel version wich starts the tractor when you turn the key to the run position and turns off when the key is turned off, or you may have a dead short that triggers the starter solenoid when power is sent when the key is in the run position
