|Dave||I am thinking about purchasing a MF165 late 70's The tractor runs and sounds good. It has a Perkins Diesel... The only problem is it needs BRAKES.. My question is: Does anyone know what size and type of brakes this tractor has? Where I can purchase parts wholesale for this tractor? Thanks in advance. Dave
|Howard||Since MF is part of AGCO, their pricing on most items that I have needed is as low - if not lower - than the aftermarkets - & they are OEM.
There were at least two different brakes used on this tractor. They are expanding disks - different # of splines, actuator, etc... I've been told it depends on whether your axle housing is round or square.
