|Keith||I have a 165 with perkins diesel engine.. it was sitting up for some time before i bought it.. I pull cranked it and it started blowing oil out of a hole by the tach cable, this looks like a factory hole. any ideas?
|rod||I assume the tacho is working, if not ,is the angle drive still secured in the timing cover?
|keith||tach don't work, but already found the problem..a seal on the cam between cam and tach drive ... big dave told me a bout it.. Thanks to him, on that one.. got a new seal in yesterday,, all better now
