165 dif. lock

Barry Smith My dif lock does not work can I get to lock from the top of the tranny
Big Dean No you can not get to the diff lock through the Transmission. The Diff lock is in the right rear axle housing. The shaft that goes from the controls to the jaw clutch is pribably rust very common problem on those tractors if the Diff lock is not used on a regular biscis. Email me if I can be of further help.
smokey I bought a MF135 with the same problem so Big Dean is probably right. Mechanic had to soak the shaft with penetrene and may be use some heat to free it. Charged me very little to fix it so it cannot be to hard to do,
