|Doug||I am about to purchase my first tractor, having just built a house on 6.5 acres. I am looking at a used 1225,hydrostatic, a 1999 with 220 hours. It seems like a great machine. Was just wondering if there are any "known" problems with this model- any good or bad comments welcome
|John H||I bought a MF 1225 hydro '99 with 300 hrs. for 5 acre area (home use). Runs good no problems yet. While driving forward put in reverse to dectect slippage on transmission. Also check thouroughly to determain wear on tractor is minimal for such low hours. Would'nt recommend for overuse or abuse on the hydro but overall nice tractor.
