150 Massey Ferguson lost power to rear tires
|Les Nowlan||Using tractor and heard bang from rear and lost power to rear tires. Diff. Lock will not power either tire, pro still working and feel like transmission is turning. Has multi-power, and straight drive axle. Where to start? Can I see anything under the hyd. lift cover? Just going to start looking. Clutches were replaced short while ago. Thanks
|hymie2lt||If you open up the lift cover under your seat, and look inside, there should be a coupler inside that is deliberately made weak to break in the event of a jar or seizing of some of the rear end components. I would have a look at this first.
The coupler is about 5 inches long, and couples the rear drive shaft from the transmission to the rear end.
