mf35 water pump replacement

Rege I have a 1963 MF35 gas tractor that needs a new water pump. I took the old one off and got a new pump...had it pressed to the old pulley at NAPA. I'm getting ready to install it and have 2 questions:
1. does anyone know the torque to attach the pump body to the engine? and
2. I cannot turn the pump impeller by hand - should I be able to?

Any help would be appreciated.

ponymare Not sure of a torque for the bolts, but the fan shaft should turn freely by hand.
IHTimmy Well you get the bolts tight or if were 3/8 diameter 30 then on the water pump you said it turns hard they probably didn't push on the center of the shaft when they put the pulley on so they ruin the water pump
Rege Thanks guys. Well, I took it back to NAPA and they redid it and it turns now (they replaced the pulley - charge ... I'm beginning to like NAPA a lot). So next problem - I bolted it on and turned it by hand - it seems to be rubbing a bit inside the pump. I'm wondering if I can just grind it down a bit except that being cast iron it may be a challenge.
Rege I should have said "no charge"
ponymare If they messed it up pushing the pulley on, and you go messing with it, the warrenty won't be any good. And it might leak, make them replace it.
