hydraulic filter location for a m/f 2625

warren whitaker trying to find my hydraulic filter on my 2008 massey ferguson 2625 and would that make the loader week if clogged
Jimmy Houser The filter is on the bottom of the rear end housing and has 3 bolts holding a cover. It looks like a rounded triangle. Make sure to drain the oil before you take the cover off. Also, watch out because removing that cover will also drop some in your face. Make sure to have a gasket handy. The strainer is cleanable. Wash it in diesel fuel or buy a new one with your gasket purchase. Remember not to pull the position control quadrant (three point raise and lower lever) all the way back into "constant pumping" mode as it will damage your hydraulic pump. It makes a clacking noise when it is pulled back.
