MF 35 engine authenticity
|Laurie||Wonder if anyone can help with engine numbers. I've recently purchased a mf35 3 cylinder perkins.
I know that the serial number is 1960
I also know all castings are genuine 1960, but I'm finding the engine more difficult.
The stamped number on the block is
CL 1838604 C . It has a
(Mon O Cyl)casting logo and a cast number which worried me a little.
N 17 O . At first I thought this was the usual date mark, but they use letters as months and that means they will only go as far as L
Can anyone she'd any light . Thanks Loz
