MF 300 won't move. Fluid?
|Jeff||Can get wheels to engage and think I am low on drive oil. Manual confuses me. I think it's a 1974. There is a fill spot in the center floor between seat and gear shifters. Type A?
And a plug bottom right behind exhaust pipe side wall that says fill level? Sae90 here? Wheels stopped moving when accelerating. Thinking low oil/hydro fluid. Not sure what to use or where to put it.
Dipstick to right of seat shows full clear guessing hydraulic fluid. I have a parts Manual but cannot figure this out. Help?
|ponymare||If this is a MF300 ag type tractor, it may be the clutch is out, or needs adjusting. Do you have any free play in the petal?
|Jeff Moral||It is a hydro shuttle direct drive I think. Checked fluid level under bottom right left pedals "fill line" and very low. Want to try filling but not sure what to use. 90 save or Type A hydraulic?
|ponymare||Most drives and hyd systems use a HY tran type oil. you could call a massy dealer and find out for sure on that model.
