Massey model 1010, low oil pressure
|frank||While mowing with my MF 1010, the low oil pressure light came on, oil was a little low and dirty, do I changed oil and filter using Rotella 10W30. Started it back up, light was out. Mowed for about 15 mins and it came back on. What should I check before hauling it off to a dealer? Is there a place to attach an oil gauge to see what the pressure really is? Could it be just a faulty warning light? I did not notice any difference in the way the tractor ran.
|frank||problem was a faulty sensor. replaced sensor with a gauge, tractor carries 70lbs of oil pressure.
