||I installed a new governor kit and no matter how I adjust the linkage, it runs wide open. Any advice?

||Has anyone figured this out yet I have an f40 and I replaced the gov. First new one came apart so installed second new one and am having a fit trying to get things ajusted. Have torn linkage apart readjusted and now woundering if I am having carb problems with butterfly hanging up and that is why its not adjusting right.
||I have a mf 35 with the z134 engine and the governor was in pieces in the oil pan so i took it all apart. know i am ready to put it all back together and i do not no how tight it should in there. so if any one could help me with that

||I had the exact same problem on my MF 35 with a Z134 gas. I have the service manual which has torque values in foot pounds. The torque value for the camshaft lock nut is 70-80 foot pounds per the manual. I put 3 drops of blue lock-tight on the threads and torqued mine to 75 ft pounds and it works. Hope this helps .
