MF 135 with Z-145 Continental Engine
|Jerry Simmons||WANTED! Restoring a 1966 MF 135. While rebuilding the engine I received the dreaded news that my block is cracked two places. Between 1/2 and 3/4 cylinders. I'm afraid to attempt a repair, only if I have no other option, and would like to purchase a crack free block or short block. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell? If so, please contact me at: ot (843)224-2069.
Have you considered putting a 3 or 4 cylinder Perkins diesel motor in it . I have a 135 with 3cy diesel @ about 40 hp , that's plenty for me. Don't know if bell housing matches up though .
