35x bottom cover plate

geoff hi, i wanted to know about the plate held on with 4 bolts found below the clutch on the 35x. i wanted to know if i undo it, will the gearbox/diff oil come out. there is alot of engine oil around this cover. i have a leak out the oil strainer so i don't if it is from there, if it is gearbox oil leaking or if it is a dry clutch i have a rear engine seal needing replacement.
Geoff Geoff you can remove the bottom plate with confidance ....there is no oil in there ..unless you have on heck of a big leak. If there is an oilieness around it that will either be engine oil....BLACK or gear oil...GOLDEN colour....Geoff
