MF 150 Hydraulics

Bill Phillips I have a MF 150 diesel. In the last year I put a loader on the tractor and it worked great for about 6 months. Now the loader won't stay up and the 3 point sags also. Is it time for a new hydraulic pump? Of course it is in the middle of the tractor and too big of job for me to do. Before I spend all that money could it be anything else?
Bob Archer This happened to me when I had a leak and the fluid got low.
Tom If your loader and three point hitch raise up the pump is working. You need to check you control valve to be sure it is not leaking by letting the loader and arms drop. The pump only gives you the pressure to raise the arms the control valve keeps the fluid from returning which holds your arms up.
Bill Phillips Thanks for the info I will try that first cause tearing the tractor apart would be a big expense.
