Massey Ferguson 1100 hydraulics
|dlhcr40||I just acquired a Massey 1100 that has a front end loader. A 3-way valve has been added to the original to valve. The original valve control
says "Float Lower Neutral Raise". How do I set the powerlift to "constant pumping" to work front end loader? The powerlift control knob
says "Draft Press Position". I think it has to be
turned to a certain position, but I'm not sure.
any help woul be greatly appreciated.
also, shifting gears is almost impossible. Is there a way I can clean all the linkages?
|William Thomas||To change from draft to either pressure control or position control the square knob must first be PUSHED straight in or downward then rotated. Most freeze up and are never changed. If you do go to constant pumping the fluid will likely overheat. Use caution, and observe pressure build up. Saw one go over 3000 psi.
Probably transmission synchronizers or transmission brake may be worn. Is it 8 or 12 speed transmission?
