|jeff||Was going to change oil in injection pump. located a fill, a level and a drain plug. When you drain it all out and add the oil do you just fill it till it comes out the level hole then put the plug in or what it says just 10ml is what it takes, tractor has 1250 hrs and not sure when previous owner did it. Also hydraulic oil stainer, when you remove it and clean it with fuel, how much oil will i loose out of the line it is full or does it run back into the rear end when tractor is off.
|thepumpguysc||I would do as it says..
Then run the engine for afew minutes, shut it down and recheck the "full" screw..
I havent seen a "self contained" injection pump that didnt have an oil bleed [vent] on it somewhere..so if you overfill it, the oil will seep out while running..
|MPM||For your oil strainer question, what model of tractor is it?
|jeff||My tractor is a MF 220 2 cyl japanese diesel.
