Need correct length for oil dipstick on MF-205

Paul Hamer I have a dipstick on my MF-205 that I suspect is the wrong length. It measures 7" from the bottom of the stick to the bottom of the hilt-cap, or 7 1/2" from the bottom of the stick to the top of the hilt-cap. Tractor is serial number JNA659100380. Thanks for any one helping.

smokey I have thae same problem with a stationary Perkins motor ie A3.152. Filled it as per dip stick and it spewed oil every where. Checked against my MF135 and it appears to be 1 inch shorter than it should be. This is bloody frustrating.
