MF Model 65 Quit Running while bush hogging
|Charlie||My MF 65 was running fine - then suddenly just quit while hogging my field. I had just replaced the voltage regulator and it was running very good.
My guess is because it quit so suddenly and showed no sign whatsoever of trying to start when I cranked it after the stall out, it may be either a condenser or the coil.
Does anyone know whether old coils or old condensensers tend to go out when a new voltage regulator has been installed???
Other suggestions are also appreciated.

|Tim||I tuned up my Ford 8N last fall and quit running 15 minutes later. The problem ended up being a bad condensor.
Check your coil for a good hot spark. If your getting a good spark I would start looking at the distributor and it's components. If no spark at coil, make sure your getting power to the coil.
