MF50 Tractor won't start
|Charles Arwood||Went out one day and tractor wouldn't turn over. Took new battery out and charged.....still wouldn't turn over. Tested starter button and key ignition switch and both worked. I replaced the starter relay and checked wires...still wouldn't turn over.
Question: "If the neutral start switch is defective will the tractor still start in neutral?" Any help you could give me would be most appreciated.
|jim||no. if nuetral saftey switch is jiggered it wont matter where lever is positioned. find switch and remove wires and temporaraly join wires. if it starts great, get a new switch straight away do not leave saftey switch disabled! if it doesnt start, re-check starter. jim
