GC2300 -Hydraulic Oil plug

chandra Sharma I have messed up the hydraulic oil sump plug hole. While i am aware that we can repair the hole with a coil repair kit, if some one can advice what would be most convenient way to do this ?

JasonG IM not familiar with your tractor, but I can think of 3 options. 1 Drill out the hole and retap with the next larger size. 2 If you have the tools and skills you can weld a new threaded bung or a coupling in place. 3 A "Heli-coil" is the thread repair kit, and is pretty simple to use, though im not sure if they make the for NPT threads if that is what you have. Good luck
