Engine parts MF 175 Continental Gas
|Stan Kelember||Bought a MF 175 with a Continental gas engine.Engine was dissasembled when I bought it.I have been told the engine is obsolete.Anyone know where I might obtain parts for the engine. Thanks Stan
|Jeff Z.||Are you sure that is a Continental engine?
I think it is a Perkins gas engine in the 175.
Best regards, Jeff Z.
|MAH||Yes, The 175 came with a Continental Gas. It is the G206 which takes most of the same parts as the G176 that is in the 165. The Perkins gas didn't show up until about 1969 or 1970. So that means your 175 is probably pre 1969.
