135 stuck in gear?I know a permanent fix!

Richard Harper I've hung mine up in reverse a few times and recently locked it in 2nd. A local farmer/mf mechanic helped me get it out and told me to pull up the rubber boot around the gear shift and gently tap down the circular hosing that the leaver goes down through. I dropped mine about 0.100. He explained this compensates for our tendency to pull up on the lever when we shift. So far it shifts just fine.
