MF240 lift pivot pin loose
|Sam Rawlins||I recently noticed that I had an oil leak at the right side lift pivot pin and it was loose wallowing around in the hole. I bought this tractor 3 months ago and it looks like the pin has been replaced as it doesn't look like the left side one. I noticed something red between the pin and the hole and found out it was Permatex sealer. I assume the right axle housing has to be removed to remove this pin. Am I correct?
|GEEBEE||You are correct Sam, unfortunately you have to remove the axle housing to get at it, these are a taper-lock pin with a nut on the inside.
