mf35 hydraulic problem
|neopole||hello, first i'd like to say what a great site!
i have a mf35 diesel i bought 10 yrs ago, and the hydraulics have stoped working, the oil was a thick creamy goo..water leaking in. i have changed the oil.... no luck. i have opened both sides and looked for a filter but cant find one. i have played with the up/down levers and noticed they were not working right. the draft lever was stuck solid.... it now works fine.but the draft lever doesnt push the "roller arm" all the way back, even though there is lots more movement than before.
the system used to work fine then oneday it didnt.i asumed a blocked filter or goey oil.
does the rod going into the pump have to be all the way in to activate the pump?
there is also a hydraulic fel on the tractor, could there be a problem with the transfer lever?
the tractor is stuck in a shed and i cant move it, so any help would be apreciated.
i havent closed it up again and tried it, because id rather get advice first.
numbers on the side of tractor a 183 253 m5
