|Joe||MF255 fails to start sometimes. I have to wiggle the "HI-LO range lever in and out of gear to get it to start. I'm sure it's some sort of switch on the tractor but what is it called, is it hard to fix and where is it located?
Any help anyone could afford me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Joe Snodgrass, Indiana
|curt||It is a saftey interlock switch, it is located on housing in front of hi/low lever, you will have to take off side panels to locate, if the switch is bad you just unscrew and replace, some times the wires (two) are not secured properly, Hope this helps,
|Joe||Thanks Curt, this helps alot.
