MF 35x

Graeme I have a MF35x diesel and need to know if it has a dual stage clutch. The clutch at present only appears to be single stage, however I am wondering if the 2nd stage is stuck or if it is just a single stage. What is the best way to find out without taking the tractor apart.
GEEBEE I have not seen a MF 35 deluxe diesel that did not have the 2stage clutch (thats not to say there are none). For starters your SER# prefix should tell you, if it says SNM it is dual clutch. If so it is either way out of adjustment, like 2 or 3 inches of free play or is stuck or has other problems.
Geoff Gane Graeme a 35 deluxe means that it has a dual clutch as standard....the single stage clutches were on the 35 standard...the standard 35 has no tractormeter...(rev counter and hourmeter)....Geoff
