John Deer L130 Mower Deck

Larry For some reason my mower deck won't come on. I have tested the switch with a test light and determined that the switch is good and the fuse next to the battery is not blown. The belt is not off of the pulleys so I am now confused. What else could possibly be wrong or how could I fix this?

Thanks,
Larry

R Hind Does your tractor/ mower have a electrical clutch
on the front of the tractor that has been adjusted or has the belt been tightened? I found that with my 140,the belt tension was too much also how the belt was riding in the pully created belt slap which overheated the switch in the clutch thus shut down. Also check the voltage going to the clutch looking for any loose wire connection.

mikes Larry, when mine wouldn't start, i had to buy a new electric clutch for it, the clutch shorts out inside and won't let it work.
Marc My PTO (brand new) won't engage. I also changed the wiring harness and replaced the 20 AMP fuse. I've read that some electric PTO's won't engage if the battery is putting out insufficient voltage. My battery was drained and I had to jump start the tractor today. It ran well but the PTO didn't engage. I have not fully charged the battery yet. Could the problem be resolved with a fully charged or replaced battery?
