Re: John Deere Manure spreader Model L series 51

We bought an old beat up John Deere Model L Series 51 manure spreader from someone for $125.00. The chain kept jumping. We went to the John Deere store in Martinsburg PA and got a whole new chain assembly and a sprocket. Put it on and tightened the other chains and oiled, lubed, and greased it and it works beautifully. So far we've put in around $750 but it works like a dream. Next we are going to put new wood on it and repaint it. Hope you get can get one.

MIchael I am looking for parts for my Model L, would you be interested in purchasing a good used one that needs some parts? Would be willing to sell it for $350
thanks, Michael
