|John||I have a Hydro 175 that starts and runs fine until it gets hot. Once it gets hot, it loses power. If the drive and PTO are engaged it will stall. If it does stall, it will start right back up, but still has no power. I can take a garden hose to the engine and cool it off and it will run fine for a couple of minutes until it heats back up. I figured it was vapor lock or a vent problem, but nothing I do seems to fix it. Any suggestions?
|Ron||A failing ignition module will do that but get it looked at by a mechanic pronto as spraying cold water on a hot engine is about the best way I know to crack the block/head.
