|tom Behning||anyone have an idea how to make a 318 blade work on a 455
|Dave||You would have to either buy or fabricate your own hitch (the part that mounts to the tractor and then the blade mounts to it). The hitch from the 318 blade will not fit the 455. A new hitch from Deere is around $1000 or so, if I remember right. Depending on the blade configuration, it may not adapt to the 455's hitch anyway. Otherwise, look for a used hitch, but they are hard to find.
|JDFANATIC||I think the hitch is more around $500, but probably would still require some fab work to make it fit.
|Dave||I think you are correct on the dollar amount for the hitch. If not, probably a lot closer than I was.
