|Brad||I am tring to hook up the 4 way hydraulic blade. this is a 2000 year tractor. The top lever moves the deck, thru the valve body. However, the bottom lever is rigid at the valve connection site. I need to get couplers for it, and the shut-off valve to the deck, but cannot get the raise/float/lower lever to move.
Also, the cruise control does not work, and cannot see how or what it should be connected to beneth the tractor
The lower lever on the JD425 is prone to freeze-up because of non-use. It usually can be freed up with penetrating oil applied at the valve body and a careful and judicious application of force. Once you have freed it up, just exercise the lever a couple of times when you start the tractor.
