John Deere 820 - Vibration

Joe At times there is a loud vibration when the clutch is depressed and the tractor is in any gear. No vibration with the clutch depressed and in park or neutral. Also, when the vibration occurs it is difficult to shift gears.
ponymare Could be the pilot bearing is going bad, causing the input shaft to be turned by the engine instead of the clutch disk.
IHTimmy It sounds like the center of the clutch is coming apart and when you push the clutch down just let it float around and when you release it it tightens it back up and it will make it drag so you can't get it in gear it sounds like he might be put in the clutch and pressure plate that should have an inspection cover in the bottom of the bell housing you might be able look up inside ear and see what you got
