JD 444K loader
|Jennifer Kramer||Does anyone have any ideas on why a loader is idling high at 1425rpm's and will only rev up to 1520rpm's?
|Dale||Most likely injection pump, adjustment someone may have tried to make? Possibly a governor inside the injection pump?
Does it feel like the hydraulic pump is drawing engine RPM down or is it a free flow.
To have low idle @1425 is surely a injection pump issue. There are some on this site that do those pumps and they will most likely post. For sure you need to try to lower your low idle at the pump linkages.
Does the engine show signs of smoking excessively? Possibly a varmint camped out in the air tube?
