|nathan||my 8440 turns over fine but its not getting fuel where do i start lookimg
|SD|| Start at the fuel tank, see if your getting fuel
flow out the fuel lines. Check the fuel cap to see if the tiny air vent is clogged, could leave the cap off to see if fuel will flow to check it.
If your getting good fuel flow not just a small
tooth pick size stream then go to the fuel filter
to see if it's clogged. Follow the fuel line to
the next item and so on. If your getting good fuel flow all the way, then try to bleed the fuel system at the injectors.
|Bobby||I had the same problem with a 8430..I found a small hole that had rubbed into the suction line..Eventually I installed an automotive in-line electric fuel pump in the suction line..wired to the switch...Over time, the fuel suction pump gets weak..so I fixed it with the electric fuel pump..I had to do the same with a 8630..
