650 jd hydrolics

james hi all,i have a 1983 jd 650 that ive had for prob 4yrs,good condition and strong for its size.prob 3yrs ago i was going to buy a 3pt wood splitter for it and was told by local jd that i couldnt add hydrolic hookups,so i bought a gasoline splitter instead.but ive been seeing interesting news on these forums indicating that i could use the power beyond plug(local jd has them in stock)and hook up hydrolics on my tractor.under my tractor seat theres 2 plugs that have an i and an o(im thinking for the in and the out)my question is if i install the power beyond plug and then add the quick connect fittings, will i then be able to run hydrolic equip with the gear driven pump that my tractor came equiped with(for the lift)or do i need to buy another pump?god bless and any answers will be appreciated.james
Sam Think you got the correct idea, go for it. just
make sure the hydraulic fluid is full after you
add equipment. Some of the fluid will go to the
equipment and stay there.

james thanks sam, also if anyone knows exactly how to hook them(do i need to run a hose to my transmission)if so,whitch hose is it?if anyone knows how to complete this hook up please let me know.god bless.james
