John Deere 3010
|Debbie Turner||I have a John Deere 3010 that I purchased last year. The PTO on this tractor started running continously this spring. It will not shut off. Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks for your help!
|Dale G. Basgall||Debbie: Is this a standard or row corp 3010, and it appears there is a serial #break for the pto assembly in that tractor so there are different parts involved, it would be helpfull to have your serial # to the tractor.
Write back on the forum and I can look up the system.
|Ron Dear||The clutch disc for the pto is a bonded type which sometimes starts seperating due to rust/overheating , which then starts engaging itself. New PTO clutch disc should solve your problem .
