John Deere 265 riding mower
|Bob Heffern||Mower quit running and I cannot get it started.
Check the sparkplug and thereis no spark
|Jim||There's a little silver module , about the size of a postage stamp and 1/4 inch think , on the right side of the engine , just about behind the dipstick tube . Deere calls it an ignition module or igniter . I changed the coil first and found that this module was bad . Replaced it and the tractor ran .
