|Chuck Curry||Tractor started running hot, checked radiator, cleaned (but not that dirty)...checked radiator to insure not stopped up. Replaced thermostat and allowed tractor to idle and that seemed to correct the problem...then as tractor was idling, started to screech and slow down, almost like it was seizing up. I turned it off...just in time. Waited for it to cool down, cranked it back up and it cranked and idled normal. Ofcourse I didn't allow it to run. Oil is normal.
Even though I replaced the thermostat...and it didn't run hot (only under idle conditions), I can only think that maybe the water pump began to seize up???
