||Hi there i have a john deere model A styled with single wheel on the front. when running it shakes like hell!! quite alarming i wonder what could be wrong maybe they have balence wheights that have fallen of or not fitted back on during work being done or is it posible somthing is bent? it dose shakes and rattles like hell in or out of gear it always dose it but drives like a dream? i hope some1 can help thanks. ||It's a 2 cylinder motor, so it will shake a lot more than more modern 4 and 6 cylinder motors. But if it is really, REALLY shaking bad, then I'd check to see if you have compression in both cylinders. Might be you have a broken connectiong rod on one side causing a severe out of balance problem.

||Are you saying the single wheel shakes or the tractor. The G I drove as a kid had tricycle front end. The wheels would shimmy when driving on a paved road. The worm gear at thet top was worn.
