Fitting F525 Bagger
|Charlie||Hi, not sure if anyone can help but thought I would try in case you have done this. I have a JD F525 mower with 48" deck and can get a blower/bagger from a F525 46" deck. Can this be made to fit the 48" easily? The local dealer just told me they are different kits/part numbers and would not help beyond that. I see the blowers are different numbers but wondered if it could be made to work without too much fighting?
|Jim R.||Hi Charlie,
I sold JD C&CE, and other equip for about a year. The 46" to 48" is probably not as much an issue as maybe different styles of decks, IE. a mulcher or side, or rear discharge, or if lucky a "convertable" deck. If it is a discharge deck, a talented guy with a torch and a welder can make anything happen. Is it worth it? Would be tolerable to look at and use? Those are the $64 questions.
